Trainee Trader/Junior Dealer (South Africa)  

We are looking to hire a young, ambitious entry level person with a strong interest in the financial markets and foreign exchange.

Experience is not required however knowledge of local South African exchange control regulations and processes would be advantageous.

We are offering a very steep learning curve and the ideal candidate must handle pressure well, be accurate and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be trained up in every aspect of trading/dealing and the financial markets but you will also be expected to learn from the bottom up and assist in the office with general administration and trade support functions.  

Duties will include the following:

- General trade support and administrative functions
- Foreign exchange dealing and executing trades
- Trade confirmations and investigations
- Dealing with clients and customer service
- Collecting relevant documentation from clients to obtain Reserve Bank authorisation on deals
